Should any item purchased from my website be proven to be other than completely original and correct in every respect OR other than was described in the original item description, I will refund the total amount of the purchase, LESS shipping and insurance, upon return of the item to me.

The item MUST be in the same condition as was ORIGINALLY sent to you.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, you MUST provide bona fide proof that the item is not an original piece by a PUBLISHED source or by written documentation from an authority that I recognize to be knowledgeable in the field with which the piece is associated. I understand that everyone has an opinion and that everyone is entitled to that opinion but opinions are just that … opinions. They are NOT documented proof. For example, a recognized authority in German medals and badges would be someone like Detlev Neimann who supplies written opinions with documented facts and photos. I will NOT accept as a reason for return a verbal or written statement such as, “I showed the piece to John Doe who is a dealer and he said the piece was not original.” And certainly I will not accept the opinions of the faceless "experts" on some of the more notorious internet forums such as that German Army one.com. So please do not offer as a reason, "I posted the item on Herr.com and the opinion was that it is no good." This will be the least of all acceptable reasons for a refund so please don't go there. If you have had the piece in your possession for 6 months and submit a nebulous reason such as one of these for a refund, it just won’t happen. Again, after the 3 day inspection period, if you provide documented proof from a published source or authority that can show me that a piece that I sold is other than original or as described, I will gladly refund your purchase price.

International Sales
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS will require addition postage. This will usually be around $16.00 for smaller packages and up to $30.00 for helmet size pieces and uniforms. I will contact the buyer directly with the actual cost of shipping at time of purchase. In addition, customs tags will reflect the ACTUAL TOTAL COST of the item and be insured for that amount so please take this into consideration when making a purchase.

Layaway
A LAY AWAY plan is available for your convenience. This will require 1/3 of the total purchase price of your order paid within 10 days or placing your order and 2 equal payments of the remaining balance made within the next consecutive 60 days. Items purchased using the “Lay Away” plan will be shown on the catalog as, “On Hold” until they are paid in full. After that they will be listed as, “SOLD”. Upon payment of order in full, shipment will be made. If transaction is not complete within the allotted 60 days, monies paid to that date, LESS 20% of the TOTAL purchase price will be returned. The item will then be re listed and available for sale.
