image136 - WWII JAPANESE NAVAL LANDING FORCE HAT WITH ANCHOR INSIGNIA – MARKED & NEAR MINT!

Price: $185.00

Here we have a beautiful World War II Japanese Naval Landing Force khaki fatigue hat that is in near mint condition. This hat has a gorgeous rayon type oval insignia sewn to the front with the yellow thread embroidered NLF anchor in the center. The hat is complete with its khaki cloth chinstrap and sizing ties at the back. This beautiful example shows very little use and is nicely marked on the interior with an inked stamped maker’s spec tag. Accompanying this hat is a 3x5 inch index card with a translation of the spec tag. The khaki material retains beautiful color and is completely free from damage. As nice as they come!

image137 - FRENCH WORLD WAR I MODEL 1915 ADRIAN ARTILLERY HELMET – COMPLETE & EXCELLENT!

Price: $325.00

This is a beautiful First World War French Model 1915 Adrian steel trench helmet that is complete with full liner and chinstrap remaining in excellent condition. The helmet retains 95% of its late war blue paint over the earlier horizon blue finish. The crossed cannon and flaming bomb insignia of the artillery is firmly affixed to the front of the helmet. The full seven finger light tan leather liner is present and completely intact. The original dark brown string that holds the tips of the fingers together is present but has broken in one spot. The original chinstrap is in place with its metal adjusting buckle and is solid and pliable. The comb at the top of the helmet is tight and without damage. There is one very small and shallow indentation on the helmet towards the right rear that does not at all distract from the overall beauty of the piece. This is truly a very fine example of this classic French World War I helmet that remains in complete and excellent condition

image138 - FRENCH WORLD WAR I MODEL 1915 ADRIAN LIGHT INFANTRY HELMET - COMPLETE

Price: $325.00

This is very nice French World War I LIGHT infantry helmet in excellent condition. It is complete with original French hunting horn light infantry insignia, comb, liner and chinstrap. The liner is of the darker type leather with the light color sweatband making for a beautiful looking interior to this piece. There are several small dents in the shell apparently caused by actual combat use but these are nothing overly distracting and in my opinion only add character to the piece. The helmet retains approximately 95% of its original horizon sky blue paint with the areas of missing paint having turned a very pleasing age toned sepia color. A very attractive and seldom encountered helmet.

image140 - WWI FRENCH MODEL 1882 INFANTRY CANTEEN WITH SLING, COVER AND CUP

Price: $295.00

This is a very nice French Model 1882 Infantry Canteen that is complete and in very good condition. The canteen retains its original leather sling which is full length and undamaged. In addition, the original horizon blue wool cover is still present on the canteen body. This cover retains all the original stitching and has some scattered moth and or wear holes but nothing that is overly distracting. Attached to the canteen by old brown hemp rope is a First World War tin drinking cup in excellent condition. There are no dents, rust or any type of damage to the metal body of the canteen and it remains a very presentable example. This is the style canteen, in this very configuration that was the standard canteen carried by the French Peliou while fighting in the trenches during World War I. Nice!
